What is the itinerary?
- We will start everyday with an offering of Hatha Yoga in the Yoga Shala. This will be followed by a scrumptious meal prepared by local chefs and a morning session tied to our daily theme. After our morning session, we will have a delicious lunch followed by an afternoon activity that is cohesive with our daily theme. The remainder of the afternoon will be nothing short of peaceful bliss as you have ample time to relax and treat yourself to a spa treatment or take an afternoon nap. We will all then meet for dinner in the open air restaurant and take in the fabulous ambiance while we delight in the evening goodies.
- We will end our days with a group sharing activity (either in the fabulous Tea Room or outdoors) aimed at reflection and reaching a better understanding of the tools learned throughout the day. We purposely leave some of the trip highlights (activities) as an omission to the itinerary description. It is our belief that a retreat should allow for some flexibility to give space to the magic of group sharing. Rest assured though that our activities have only one goal in mind, to empower YOU to be the best version of yourself.

Is it safe to travel to Costa Rica?
The country of Costa Rica is a well-established tourist destination for many years. It is well-known for its natural conservation, great hospitality, and relative safety. Having visited the country and travelled it on our own for hours on in, we can attest to the relative safety that we experienced during our travels. As with any destination, we cannot fully guarantee that everyone’s stay will be without incident given that there is always the chance of an anomaly on any trip in any destination. That being said, yes, we believe that Costa Rica is a very safe country.
What is the weather like?
The country of Costa Rica experiences tropical weather, which is beautifully warm all year round.
What do I pack?
Prepare for warm weather and bring short sleeve shirts, shorts, swim trunks or bathing suit, sandals or flip flops. Also bring fitness and/or yoga clothing and sneakers. We recommend bringing something a bit more formal as well for our evening dinners.
How can I offset the impact of my traveling by plane?
Some tangible ways in which we can reduce the environmental impact of air travel include taking direct flights rather than making stops en route to your destination. We can also find airlines that use newer model planes, choose daytime flights, and pack a little lighter.
